The Auction is Coming! Save the Date!

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 30, 2019! It is the best party of the year!

The 2019 Hazel Wolf PTSA Auction and Parent Social Fundraiser will be held at Shoreline Community College. Tickets don’t go on sale until January 11, but we are already gearing up for an amazing night. We need everyone’s help to make this event a success. You should have received a Save the Date announcement via Kidmail along with a Frequently Asked Questions and donor form. You can also find them online at https://hazelwolfk8.org/auction/.

If you have questions or you want to help in a bigger way, email auctioncommittee@hazelwolfk8.org.

Final Auction Numbers!

Thank you once again to everyone who helped to support the 2018 PTSA Galactic Auction! To our committee members who planned throughout the year, families who donated and procured items, our day-of volunteers who pulled it all together, and our families who were able to attend the event, thank you! It was a lovely to spend time with the families and staff from our community.

This year the event raised almost $121,000! Of that, almost $27,000 will be directed toward the fund-a-need project this year—technology to support multimedia and classroom communications. A special thank you to our teachers (especially Ms. Mackin!), room parents and volunteers who helped our students create beautiful art and baskets for the auction. Your projects generated $9,100!

Every April our PTSA creates the budget for the upcoming school year. If you are curious about how the money raised is spent on PTSA programs and events to support our school community, please come to the General Session meeting on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cafetorium. We will also be electing officers for the 2018-2019 board.

If you were not able to attend the auction but would still like to make a donation to the general fund, you may go to https://hazelwolfk8.org/donate/.

Thank you!

April 2 Deadline to Stake Your Claim on Remaining Auction Items!

Thank you to our Wolf Pack community for making this year’s auction out of this world! Galactic fun was had and, once again, our community’s generosity was over the moon. Reconciliation is not complete, but our unofficial grand total was $120,000 with $27,000 to Fund a Need!!!

The Auction is Coming!

Please look for your Save the Date card that will be coming home via Kidmail and book your childcare/babysitters early for this year’s auction on Friday, March 23, 2018 from 5-11pm at Shoreline Community College!

Also be on the lookout for procurement packets and FAQs sheets, also to be distributed via Kidmail. The goal is to have every family provide two to three donated items and/or experiences, talk to your local businesses, plan events with friends, etc. If you think it is a fun experience or item(s), chances are that other folks will, too!

With all the items and experiences that will be donated, the auction committee needs help with the data entry side of the donations. This job would be taking the donated item/experience info cards and entering the information provided into the auction tracking site. Contact Tabitha Burns at tburns71@gmail.com for more information.

Are you the auction project room parent? Send your auction idea to class project coordinator Caitlin Ewing at caitew@comcast.net. She makes sure that each class has a distinct project that will work with the existing auction space and timeline.
