Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA: Welcome Letter for the 2021-22 School Year

We GOT this, Wolf Pack.

As we write this welcome letter, the Delta variant of Covid-19 is surging, anxiety levels are high (particularly for our parents of kids under 12), we’re all experiencing pandemic-fatigue, and there are still more questions than answers in this constantly shifting landscape.

And yet…we *got* this.

Our community is extraordinary, our students are brilliant and resilient, our staff is nothing short of incredible, and we know we are all stronger and better, together.

In the 2021-22 school year—however it unfolds—your PTSA will continue to focus on the “4 C’s”: Cultivating CONNECTION between families, students, and staff. Building COMMUNITY through the work of our Family Engagement Team, our Racial Equity Committee, and our Family Support program. Enhancing COLLABORATION and support between school and home. And finally, doing our best to ensure clear and consistent COMMUNICATION in these ever-changing times.

We will be hosting our first PTSA General Session of the year on Wednesday, October 27th, where we will share our initial plans for the year and will solicit your feedback on how best to support our community in the year ahead. We look forward to seeing you there!

As always, your thoughts, insights, and ideas are warmly welcomed as we partner together on behalf of our wonderful scholars and community. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at president@hazelwolfk8.org.
