ANYONE can join!
Everyone – parents, caregivers, extended family, community members – is encouraged to join the PTSA. Membership is $15 (annually) and does NOT commit you to attending meetings or volunteering.
Our goal is to have at least one family member join the PTSA for each student, so we can continue to align our budget and initiatives to our community’s needs.
Join With a Scholarship
If you would like to be a PTSA member but the dues are a hardship, we do offer scholarships, and all of our activities are open to our entire community. You never need to be a member to participate or volunteer. If you are interested in a PTSA scholarship, please contact president@hazelwolfk8.org.
Why Join the Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA?
- Kids do better when parents are engaged in their learning. Well-informed, engaged families make a difference for student success in school and beyond. At its heart, Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA is about connections and working together to support the health, well-being, and educational needs of all students.
- Joining gives you a voice and a vote; only members get to vote at the general session.
- Membership supports local and state advocacy for kids. Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA is a member organization of the Washington State PTA. WSPTA is the oldest and the largest nonprofit grassroots children’s advocacy association in Washington state. Together we can strengthen our voice to improve the quality of our children’s health, welfare, safety, and education.
- Membership provides discounts. Washington State PTA teams up with businesses and associations that align with WSPTA’s mission and vision to serve the whole child by offering members special discounts (including car rentals, Great Wolf Lodge, and the Washington State Fair). All Washington State PTSA members can save money through these discounts.
