Support the Blue Envelope Campaign this Giving Tuesday! We are at just 65% to our goal of $61,000. Have you submitted your donation yet? Our contribution request is just $120 per student. We are $21K away from our fundraising goal.
We love our wonderful Hazel Wolf K-8 community and thank everyone for all they do to contribute. We need your help to ensure the continuity of important programs including Jump Start, tutoring, field trips, and more. On Giving Tuesday, consider supporting the Blue Envelope Campaign! Join us in carrying forward the legacy of Hazel Wolf with our Blue Envelope Campaign, this year’s direct appeal fundraiser. The PTSA works closely with teachers, staff, and parents to serve the needs of ALL Hazel Wolf students. Your generous donation supports important programs ranging from tutoring and staff grants to outdoor education and Jump Start. The first 50 donations get a Hazel Wolf tote bag! And there’s a fun way for students to get involved too. Learn more and donate here: https://hazelwolfk8.org/2023-blue-envelope/
Please note that there is an additional step to the Volunteer Process at Hazel Wolf. We love having volunteers at the school, but we have very strict guidelines that we have to follow in order to have anyone volunteer in any capacity at Hazel Wolf. The steps to become a volunteer at Hazel Wolf are as follows:
Fill out the volunteer paperwork and be approved by our Volunteer Coordinator, Yolanda Jackson. Ms. Jackson keeps the list of approved volunteers.
Attend a Volunteer Orientation with Principal Breuder prior to final approval. The safety and security of Hazel Wolf students school is the highest priority, which includes our Principal meeting with the adults that come into the school.
Here is the link to attend a Volunteer Orientation session:
This event is for everyone! Not a skier? No problem! Get the winter layers you need to keep you and your family warm and dry during the cold months ahead. And if you do ski or snowboard – make sure you’re ready to head into the mountains once the snow hits!
The Winter Clothing and Ski Swap will feature gently used winter apparel and ski/snowboard gear (see section on consignment below). There will also be new gear to purchase courtesy of Hazel Wolf family-owned Dusty’s ski shop! Get outfitted for winter and help raise money for our school!
This event is open to the public and anyone who wants to stay warm this winter, find/consign gear and support a great cause is welcome!

What consignment items are most likely to sell?
Winter clothes and layers were a big hit last year! In particular, gently used socks, rainboots, waterproof pants in a variety of sizes were very popular items. We would love for people to consign their used ski gear too.
Is there a way that I can drop off my consignment options quickly?
Yes! This year you can pre-register your consignment items online! No need to fill out paperwork on site, this year you can register all consignment items before you drop them off. Then bring your consignment items to one of our drop off dates and we can help you determine the best price, answer additional questions, and you’re all set. Volunteers are available to help with registration at consignment drop off, too.

Bring us your gear, tell us what you’d like to sell it for, and we’ll handle the rest. 40% of each item sold will go to benefit the PTSA, the rest is yours!
