What’s Happening in September

September is over halfway done! Here’s what’s going on in our community.

Thank You for Attending the Welcome Picnic! In spite of the downpour, our Welcome Picnic was a huge success, with more than 300 name tags used! Whether you volunteered, attended, or did a bit of both, thank you for supporting this community event – we love our Wolf Pack!

Show Your Appreciation for Ms. Allenton! Cards are being collected by Sarah Kent and Kelli Charboneau, and there is a box outside school where you can drop off notes by Monday, Sept. 23rd.

Come join us at the General Session on May 30!

Come join your fellow members of the Hazel Wolf school community for our last General Session Meeting of the year – from 6:30-8pm in the Cafetorium! Principal Breuder will be there to talk about the building budget, key dates for next year, and plans for E-STEM programming (including overnights). The PTSA will be talking about our budget plan for next year, plus more. We hope you can join us!

Feeling Grateful for… the Virginia Inn!

During the first day of a busy St. Patrick’s Day weekend, Seattle’s iconic Virginia Inn generously donated 50% of proceeds to our PTSA. We’re thrilled to be able to share that, as a result of this incredible kindness, we received a donation of $4,623!

Craig Perez – co-owner of the historic restaurant and bar, and a Hazel Wolf 4th grader parent – was the man behind the idea for this wonderful event, and we can’t thank him and the Virginia Inn team enough for their support of our school community.

Thanks also to the families who came out on March 16th and enjoyed food and drinks from the Inn’s delicious menu. We hope you had a fun downtown adventure with family and friends!
