A reminder that the Parents Supporting Parents – Dyslexia Edition (rescheduled) meeting is tonight, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the Hazel Wolf library. The first hour will be spent sharing overall challenges and resources. In the second hour, parents will share how they’ve helped their dyslexic children learn to and enjoy reading. No school, no worries – we’ve got you covered! Join friends at Elevated Sportz trampoline park tomorrow, January 30, and they will donate 20% back to Hazel Wolf K-8 PTSA.
Hours are 10am to 9 p.m. Price varies depending on time. There is a “Hoppy Hour” from 10am to 12:30 p.m. for $10. Bring your siblings, friends and neighbors and jump for a cause! Elevated Sportz is located at 18311 Bothell Everett Hwy, #140, 98012. Don’t forget socks!

Hazel Wolf K-8 school is hosting a session tonight (January 29) for English Language Learners to help with enrollment in Seattle Public Schools (open now for the 2019-2020 school year) and give information about the school choice process (open February 4-15). We will have volunteers in the library from 5 to 7 p.m. Children are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 28) in the Cafetorium at 6:30 p.m. for “Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety” (56-minute film followed by a panel discussion with local health professionals). This film is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Childcare will be provided by a group of middle school students on site in the library (donations are appreciated).
