Do you have a 4th or 5th grader interested in learning a musical instrument this year? Join families at the Instrumental Music Exploration event on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Hazel Wolf Band Room.
Hazel Wolf Music Director and Instrument Instructor Eric Stevens will be joined by staff from Ted Brown Music to help students explore instruments, and answer questions for anyone undecided about which instrument they want to learn to play. Families can also learn more about the Elementary Instrumental Music (EIM) program. EIM is a once per week group class, with instruction day varying depending on instrument section.
In addition to instrument support, Ted Brown Music staff will offer a convenient, on-site rental process for families. This event is primarily for 4th & 5th graders interested in the Elementary Instrumental Music program; however, families with students in any grade are welcome to attend.
For more information, please contact Hazel Wolf Music Director and Instructor Eric Stevens (erstevens@seattleschools.org).
