Registration Now Open for Afterschool Enrichment Classes (Oct. 30-Dec. 15 Session)

Registration for the next session of afterschool enrichment classes is now open! Online registration is available through October 27. The new session runs from October 30 to December 15. Classes are Monday through Friday after school until as late as 5:45 p.m., and there are three class times on Wednesday to accommodate early release (two class times the rest of the week).

Due to popular demand, a second Carpentry class has been added this session. This means that there are two Carpentry classes on Thursday, but kids may only sign up for one of them.

For Enrichment Pass Families: Please use this registration form to sign up for the upcoming session’s classes. If you sign up using the online signup links below, you may be double-charged. Please turn the form in to the YMCA Youth Program Director Miranda Gadau (mgadau@seattleymca.org) or our site supervisor Maddie Shirk (mshirk@seattleymca.org) as soon as possible so they can create accurate rosters.

Note: The Enrichment Pass option includes all five days and all class times (including early release on Wednesday) for $495/month ($440/month if you are a YMCA member). There is definitely cost savings with the Enrichment Pass if you need care every day.

Individual classes are $110 per session ($100 per session for YMCA members); however, Carpentry on Thursday and Martial Arts on Friday for grades K-5 are being provided by an outside vendor and are $165 per session. Also, Mountaineers and Microsoft Club are two-hour classes and are therefore $220 per session ($200 per session for YMCA members). (All classes are onsite at Hazel Wolf, except the Microsoft and Mountaineers classes. The YMCA has its own transportation and will bus kids signed up for those classes from school, to the offsite locations, and back by 5:45 pickup.)

Sign up as soon as possible, as some classes have limited space! If you have any trouble registering or have any questions, please contact Miranda.

Financial assistance: The YMCA strives to make programs available to all children and confidential assistance may be provided to the extent possible. To learn more and apply, visit http://ykids.seattleymca.org/financial-assistance.

The schedule of offerings is outlined below with short descriptions. (To read the full class descriptions, download the registration form.) To register online for individual classes, you can click on the day of the week below to be taken directly to that day’s selection on the YMCA website. You will need to set up a login on the YMCA website to register online.
