Join us on Saturday, November 12, at 9 a.m. for a Garden Work Party!
Please bring your pickup truck (if you have one) and meet at the school. It’s time to retrieve the seven steel troughs our kids use to grow edibles.
This work party is just Phase 1: Empty the troughs, and move them to the school. We will caravan from the school to the troughs (which are in use at a teacher’s house in Shoreline).
Phase 2 will be to line the troughs with capped plastic two-liter bottles, so please saving your empties at home.
Phase 3 will be to fill the troughs with dirt, with an additional work party in January.
We also have weeding to do, starting with the butterfly garden.
